WHAT VACCINATION DO I NEED?
Before traveling to Morocco, it's important to ensure that your vaccinations are up to date to protect against common diseases. While there are no specific vaccines required for travel to Morocco, it's highly recommended, as with any destination worldwide, to be up to date on your universal vaccination schedule. Make sure you've received recent booster shots for diseases like tetanus, hepatitis B, polio, diphtheria, and pertussis well before your departure date. The World Health Organization also encourages travelers to consider preventive vaccination against hepatitis A, rabies, and typhoid fever. Once these vaccinations are complete, you can enjoy your stay in Morocco with peace of mind.
WHAT IS MEDICAL CARE LIKE IN IMSOUANE?
All kinds of antiseptic creams, lotions, band-aids, etc. can be found at the local pharmacie. There is a doctor in the village as well. Medical care in private clinic in Agadir is good and mostly up to western standards.
WHAT ARE THE USUAL HEALTH PRECAUTIONS?
While Morocco is relatively safe from a health perspective, it's still wise to take some precautions. Avoid drinking tap water and opt for bottled mineral water instead. Refrain from consuming raw foods, especially undercooked meat, and avoid unpasteurized milk. Regularly wash your hands with soap and water as an additional preventive measure.

WHAT INSURANCE SHOULD I TAKE OUT?
We strongly recommend that everyone coming to Morocco should have travel health insurance. Apart from treatment expenses and medecine on location, this also covers return transport by an emergency service. Verify with your own insurance company the conditions of coverage during your stay in Morocco.
